Game with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you want. This is the best tool for the visualization of color on the Internet, in my humble opinion. I like how their color palette is presented, I like that you search by color family and color name can be painted "rooms look the most realistic and suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a green like "Picnic" (# 6731) is the opposite, the red and they POP!

You can take a photo of your house and on the makeover gallery on this page:

You can get ideas for colors, and $ 5 goes to Photoshop in your room, so you an idea of what will look like can get.

One color, contrast would be nice. Cream is a safe bet that you have red furniture, and then select the red color of an image or something in the room. I have deep red walls and cream furniture blends well with them. Everything is a matter of taste. Get some color tester and test them in the first wall.

I also have red sofas and my walls are white. Although Damascus, I have a lot of decoration is simple in black and white on the walls and things. Everything depends on what will be the theme of the decor, I would say .... know what you shoot for exactly?
